Singapore | 3 Days in Singapore
I'm a little sentimental these days and have been thinking about all the adventures I've been on the last 3 years and I figured it was time to share with you all another one...SINGAPORE!
Should you go? Yes! I think that will always be my answer to anywhere...go, travel! I'm also realizing that there are seasons to stay and save, and that is more what I've found myself in at this point...so since I'm not going right now, I'll help you go! So if you are going to be in SE asia, give yourself a few days in Singapore...you don't need that many days its a small country/city so you can pack it into a short trip for sure!
-We splurged a little and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon in Little India, and it was nice!
-save money and....
-Gardens by the Bay (Day and Nighttime light show)
-Colorful Little India Building
-Ion Orchard Mall
-Marina Bay Sands
1. Little India:
Explore the streets of little India. Do it!
The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is a site to see. We didn't venture past the outer walls but it was very interesting.
There is a little green space that has some kind of always changing art display. You will find something fun. While we were there it was a ton of elephants but all over pinterest it was umbrella trees...so you never know what you will find!
Find the colorful house, take a pic or two!
2. Explore the Gardens by the Bay and buy a ticket to the Cloud Mountain its stunning and a nice escape from the super heat/humidity of Singapore!
Also check out the Supertree Grove! And come back at 8 or 9:30pm for the free light show!
3. Explore the Bay Area: Check out the Merlion and all the tourists there...and then take in the view of the Marina Bay Sands and the Marina Bay Sands Mall (It has a river with gondolas to the hotel...its stunning! Take in all the views and sit in the deck chairs and just take it all in!
